- Joseph W. Duh, 85, of Piscataway passed away January 9, 2015.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lucille Christie Duh; his sons Michael and his wife Leanna of Florida and Robert and his wife Dawn of Piscataway; his daughter Janet of South Brunswick and grandson William Hillsinger and his wife Liz.
Joe retired from P.S.E.&G with over 46 years of service. He was a Marine Corp Veteran of the Korean War. He attained the rank of Sgt. Joe was awarded the combat action Ribbon, The Navy Presidential Unit Citation, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, Korean Service Medal and Korean Presidential Unit Citation.
He was a life member of the John Basilone Detachment Marine Corp League, The First Marine Division Association and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a coach of the Piscataway Little League for several years and was instrumental in having lights installed on the field.
Visitation hours will be Thursday from 5 to 9 pm at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854. Interment will be in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, at the request of the family, donations may be made to the John Basilone Detachment.
