- Elizabeth Ann Ludwigsen of Easton died at the Talbot Hospice House o Monday, March 11, 2013. She was 83.
Born in Harrison, N.J., on March 9, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Ann Barry Lewis. Mrs. Ludwigsen spent her early years in Harrison, N.J., where she attended public school. On January 30, 1954, she married Arthur A Ludwigsen, they continued to make their home in N.J. until the early 1970s, when the family purchased a farm in the Millington area of Kent County. While Mr. Ludwigsen worked the family farm, Mrs. Ludwigsen worked as a clerk with the Kent County Department of Social Services. In 1981, due to health reasons the family moved back to N.J. Mr. Ludwigsen died in 1983.
In the early 2000s, Mrs. Ludwigsen moved to Easton, where she enjoyed playing bingo and going to the slots with her social group. She loved spending time, and caring for her family.
Mrs. Ludwigsen was a member of Sts Peter & Paul Parish, Easton.
Mrs. Ludwigsen is survived by her to children, Kristine Sarrafian and her husband Michael of Pennsylvania and Arthur A Ludwigsen and his wife Carol of Easton; and four grandsons, Michael Ludwigsen, David Ludwigsen, Eric Sarrafian and Matthew Sarrafian.
A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at Sts Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Crumpton Cemetery, Crumpton.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Talbot Hospice Foundation, 586 Cynwood Drive, Easton, MD 21601.
