- Ness, Mary Inez age 89 of SE Mpls. Worked as a Medical Technologist at the U of M for many years. Active volunteer in the community and church. Inez was also a lifelong student. She is preceded in death by husband, Arney; sons, Patrick and Michael Ness; sister, Patricia Deuth. She will be deeply missed by her children, James Ness, Barbara (Stephen) Amundson, Mary Jo (Dave) Pennington; grandchildren, Todd Peterson, Casey Pennington, and BJ Pennington; 2 nieces; 2 nephews and many friends. Visitation Friday, 4-7 pm, at Rainville Brothers Funeral Home, 2301 Central Ave NE. Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00AM, Saturday May 6, 2006 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church & Newman Center, 1203-5th St SE, (612-331-7941). Private family interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
